Those who like to improvise on the open stage!
Carole Melchior (LU)
An evening, where music, dance and photo installation come together and play around in the phantasmagolic Bourglinster castle, weaving an ephemeral ever-flowing tapestry.
The first part of the evening is a play amongst the musicians – Arvind Ganga and E.T. (Elisabeth Flunger and Tomás Tello) – and the dancers (Annick Pütz and Yuko Kominami).
The second part consists of an open stage (followed by a guided warm-up session by the dancers) reserved for those who would like to move and improvise on stage.
The photo installation in the space will be created by Carole Melchior for the evening.
*Arvind Ganga is a guitar player from Den Haag, the Netherlands. He freely shops around in the fields of drone, noise, north Indian classical music, free improvisation, sound art and experimental rock. With a few effects, a handful of objects, and his trusty red guitar, he molds this into a loosely structured chaotic mess that is bathing in the rays of a deep red sun. Ethereal noise with a punk-improv attitude. Arvind plays solo, regularly improvises with likeminded musicians, and is active in music/dance improvisation. His music took him to play squats, galleries, clubs and festivals from Portugal to Poland.
