O workshop \u00e9 sobre o processo de transforma\u00e7\u00e3o, de se tornar outro. Est\u00e1 baseado na pr\u00e1tica de Butoh e na pesquisa pessoal do core\u00f3grafo. O movimento de se transformar aqui significa o movimento para se dissolver noutra coisa – um processo de metamorfose, de transforma\u00e7\u00e3o. O workshop est\u00e1 aberto a todos (artistas profissionais e amadores) que est\u00e3o interessados no assunto.
\nButoh \u00e9 uma dan\u00e7a que tem suas ra\u00edzes no novo movimento de dan\u00e7a do final dos anos 1950 no Jap\u00e3o.<\/p>\n

This workshop is about movement of becoming based on Butoh practice and the choreographers\u2019 personal research. Movement of becoming here means the movement towards dissolving into
\nsomething else \u2013 a process of metamorphosing. One of the characteristic of the practice can be said that it deals with metamorphosis \u2013 becoming something else.
\nThe workshop is open to everyone (professional performers and amateurs) who is interested in the subject.<\/p>\n

Butoh is a dance which has its roots in the new dance movement of the late 1950s in Japan.<\/p>\n

Nascida em 1973, no Jap\u00e3o, estudou Butoh e dan\u00e7a em T\u00f3quio. Depois de terminar seu bacharelado em hist\u00f3ria do Jap\u00e3o na Universidade de Waseda, estudou no Laban Centre London de 1998 a 2000. Obteve o Mestrado em Culturas, Hist\u00f3rias e Pr\u00e1ticas da Dan\u00e7a pela Universidade de Surrey, com distin\u00e7\u00e3o em 2006. J\u00e1 se apresentou em festivais de destaque como o Festival June Events – Ateli\u00ea de Paris Carolyn Carlson, Festival Internacional de Teatru de la Sibiu, Odisha Bienal, Venice International Film Festival, World Expo, Xangai, Bodyradical, Les Rep\u00e9rages Danse \u00e0 Lille e assim por diante. Trabalhou e actuou em v\u00e1rios pa\u00edses do mundo – em toda a Europa, Jap\u00e3o, China, \u00cdndia e Peru.<\/p>\n

Born in 1973, Japan. She studied Butoh and dance in Tokyo. After finishing her BA in Japanese history at Waseda University, she studied at Laban Centre London from 1998 to 2000. She obtained
\nher MA in Dance Cultures, Histories and Practices from the University of Surrey with distinction in 2006. She has performed in prominent festivals such as Festival June Events – Atelier de Paris Carolyn Carlson, Festivalul International de Teatru de la Sibiu, Odisha Biennale, Venice International Film Festival, World Expo, Shanghai, Bodyradical, Les Rep\u00e9rages Danse \u00e0 Lille and so on.
